Staff is recommending approval of the bid in the amount of $163,582.85. We recommend the City of Waukee waive informalities and irregularities, consider the proposals, and award the contract to Elder Corporation on the basis of their low bid of $163,582.85. This award is subject to submittal of acceptable bonds and insurance. We are also enclosing a copy of the bid tabulation for your use. Upon a decision to award, we will proceed with obtaining the agreement, bonds, and insurance.
