CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION
MEETING DATE: January 16, 2023
AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of
February 21, 2023, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to
amend Chapter 169, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by
amending Chapter 169.02, Official Zoning Map, by repealing said
section and enacting in lieu thereof the readoption of the Official Zoning
Map.
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The last official zoning map was adopted by the
City Council in May 2020. There have been several rezoning requests
approved since that time.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
February 21, 2023, to further discuss an amended Official Zoning Map.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
