AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution accepting a Temporary Construction
Easement and a Public Access and Recreational Trail Easement from HRC
Alder Point, LLC (Stratford Crossing Park)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: HRC Alder Point, LLC, has granted a Temporary
Construction Easement and a Public Access and Recreational Trail Easement
to the City of Waukee. The easements are located along the south side of the
Rialto townhome project. The purpose of the easement is to allow for
construction and placement of a public trail that is proposed as part of the
plans for the Stratford Crossing Park project.

RESOLUTION 2023-
APPROVING TEMOPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT & PUBLIC ACCESS
& RECREATIONAL TRAIL EASEMENT FROM HRC ALDER POINT, LLC
(STRATFORD CROSSING PARK)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from HRC Alder Point, LLC, are
necessary for the purpose of constructing a public trail.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Temporary Construction Easement and the Public Access and Recreational Trail
Easement from HRC Alder Point, LLC, are hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 6th day of
February 2023.
