AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 99, CONNNECTION FEE DISTRICTS, CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA, BY AMENDING SECTION 99.13, WASTEWATER TREATMENT CONNECTION FEE DISTRCT, AS SPECIFIED BELOW WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that amendments to certain wastewater treatment connection fee district fees should be made to the existing fees in the ordinance. BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1. Chapter 99, Waukee Municipal Code, Section 99.13, Wastewater Treatment Connection Fee District, subsection 4. Schedule of Wastewater Connection Fees, subsection B. is hereby removed and the following paragraph is added to Section 99.13, subsection 4. Schedule of Wastewater Connection Fees, subsection B. as follows: §99.13 (4) Schedule of Wastewater Connection Fees B. Fees shall be based upon the equitable costs of extending service from the municipal wastewater system to the property for which connection is sought. From the effective date hereof, fees shall be imposed in the following amounts: Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. 2 Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
