STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City and Consultant staff has reviewed the public
improvements for the Traffic Signal Enhancement Project, Detection Upgrades and find it in general
conformance with the approved construction drawings and specifications for the City of Waukee.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2023-
ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
[TRAFFIC SIGNAL ENHANCEMENT PROJECT SOFTWARE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, Traffic Control Corporation has completed the public improvements
associated with the Traffic Signal Enhancement Project Software; AND,
WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the improvements constructed as part of the Traffic
Signal Enhancement Project Software and confirm that said improvements constructed as
a part of this project are in general conformance with the approved construction drawings
and Standard Specifications of the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21st day of February, 2023, hereby accepts the public improvements
associated with the Signal Enhancement Project Software.

referenced project as performed by Traffic Control Corporation.
It is our opinion that the work is in substantial accordance with the plans and specification and that
the final amount of the contract is Three Hundred One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Five Dollars
($301,765.00).
