RESOLUTION 2023-055
APPROVING MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY PROPOSAL FOR OVERHEAD
TO UNDERGROUND PROPOSAL [DOUGLAS PARKWAY AND N WARRIOR LANE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS, WMIS 29661241
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee requested a proposal from MidAmerican Energy Company to
relocate the overhead electric system along N Warrior Lane at its intersection with Douglas
Parkway; AND,
WHEREAS the removal and/or relocation of overhead electric facilities would improve safety,
image, economic development and the construction of the traffic signal poles; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the MidAmerican Energy Company Overhead to Underground
Proposal [Douglas Parkway and N Warrior Lane Traffic Signal Improvements, WMIS 2966124].
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 6�" day of February,
2023.
