RESOLUTION 2023-056
APPROVING FACILITIES REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH NORTHERN
NATURAL GAS COMPANY [WAUKEE NO. 1 TBS]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has requested Northern Natural Gas Company to remove and
rebuilt town boarder station (TBS) no. 1 from it's current location in the NW quadrant of the W
Hickman Rd and NW IOth St intersection to a new location on the East side of S Ave
approximately 0.5 miles north of NW Meredith Dr; AND,
WHEREAS, the relocation of TBS no. 1 is necessary to accommodate the anticipated site
improvements on the City's parcel identified for the future Public Safety Facility; AND,
WHEREAS, removal of the TBS and gas main servicing the TBS shall be completed by October
1, 2023 with all remaining work to be completed by November 1, 2023; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Facilities Reimbursement Agreement with Northern Natural Gas Company [Waukee No. 1 TBS]
is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 61h day of
February, 2023.
