AGENDA ITEM:Consideration approval of Receipt and File of the purchase of an E88
R2-Series Bobcat Compact Excavator and Concrete Breaker from
Capital City Equipment Company in the amount of $56,173.97.
FORMAT:Receipt/File
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This is a scheduled replacement of the 2018
Bobcat E85 excavator and concrete breaker. The unit is used for concrete repairs, water
maintenance, sanitary sewer maintenance, storm sewer maintenance, and gas lines. The
City did take a look at leasing this unit and 36 month lease was quoted at a cost of
$65,500.00.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $56,173.97
Cost split between Streets, Wastewater, Water, Storm, and Gas.
