HomeMy WebLinkAbout2023-04-03 J01I Public Utility Easement_Courtyards at Parkside Plat 2 Outlot Z AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: April 3, 2023 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Public Utility Easement (City of Waukee) FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: There is a need to create a public utility easement on property within Courtyards at Parkside Plat 2 to allow for access to public utilities located on privately owned property. The easement is located on the property located at the northeast corner of NW Douglas Parkway and NW 6th Street. The easement runs adjacent to NW 6th Street. COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Resolution PREPARED BY: Melissa DeBoer, Planning Coordinator REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J1I THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2023- APPROVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT FROM COURTYARDS AT PARK SIDE LLC (COURTYARDS AT PARKSIDE PLAT 2) IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND, WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Courtyards at Park Side LLC, are necessary for the purpose of utility extensions. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, that the Public Utility Easement from Courtyards at Park Side LLC is hereby approved.
