AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Public Utility Easement
(City of Waukee)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: There is a need to create a public utility easement on
property within Courtyards at Parkside Plat 2 to allow for access to public
utilities located on privately owned property. The easement is located on the
property located at the northeast corner of NW Douglas Parkway and NW 6th
Street. The easement runs adjacent to NW 6th Street.

RESOLUTION 2023-
APPROVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT FROM COURTYARDS AT PARK
SIDE LLC (COURTYARDS AT PARKSIDE PLAT 2)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Courtyards at Park Side LLC,
are necessary for the purpose of utility extensions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Utility Easement from Courtyards at Park Side LLC is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 3rd day of April,
2023.
