AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution accepting a Public Storm Water
Detention Easement and Public Ingress / Egress Easement from Grand Prairie
Townhomes, LLC (Kettlestone Peak Townhomes)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Grand Prairie Townhomes, LLC has granted a Public
Storm Water Detention Easement and a Public Ingress / Egress Easement to
the City of Waukee. The storm water detention easement is located in the
southeast corner of the site and the ingress / egress easement is provided for
all streets interior to the site. The purpose of the easements is to locate and
maintain a surface water flowage and detention area and to permit the City, its
permittees and licensees, residents of the City and general public the right to
access the interior roads of Kettlestone Peak Townhomes.

RESOLUTION 2023-
APPROVING PUBLIC STORM WATER DETENTION EASEMENT FROM GRAND
PRAIRIE TOWNHOMES, LLC (KETTLESTONE PEAK TOWNHOMES)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Grand Prairie Townhomes,
LLC, are necessary for the purpose of locating and maintaining a surface water flowage and
detention area.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Storm Water Detention Easement from Grand Prairie Townhomes, LLC, is
hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 10th day of July
2023.

TOWNHOMES, LLC (KETTLESTONE PEAK TOWNHOMES)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a certain easement from Grand Prairie Townhomes,
LLC is necessary for the purpose of allowing the City, its permittees and licensees, City residents
and the general public access the right to access the easement area.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Ingress – Egress Easement from Grand Prairie Townhomes, LLC, is hereby
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 10th day of July
2023.
