RESOLUTION 2023-401
APPROVING QUOTE FROM AXON ENTERPRISE, INC. [WAUKEE PUBLIC
SAFETY FACILITY, INTERVIEW ROOM DIGITAL SYSTEM]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Public Safety Facility (815 NW 20th Street) includes plans for an
evidentiary video/audio recording system for use by the Waukee Police Department; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Police Department recommend purchasing the system from Axon
Enterprise, Inc.; AND,
WHEREAS, the cost of the system is part of the overall project budget; however, approving the
quote at this time locks in the pricing and prevents price increases between now and when the
building is constructed; AND,
WHEREAS, payment for the system is not due until the hardware is delivered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 18th day of September, 2023, that it hereby approves quote from Axon Enterprise, Inc.
