ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE 2023 FEE SCHEDULE REVISION NO.2
[POLICE DEPARTMENT FEES, ADMINISTRATION]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, most police departments in the western metro area invoice off -duty police
officers to cover events at $65.00 per hour; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Police Department recommends an amendment to the current
2023 Fee Schedule regarding the fee for off -duty police officers so that Waukee is
consistent with neighboring communities, while also more accurately reflecting actual
costs to the City; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee 2023 Fee Schedule, Police Department,
Administration, is amended as follows:

POLICE DEPARTMENT
Administration
Off -duty police officer $65.00 per hour with 2-hour minimum
Fingerprinting services $10.00 per card + $5.00 single charge supply fee
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 160' day of October, 2023, that the City of Waukee 2023 Fee Schedule
Revision No. 2 [Police Department Fees, Administration] is hereby approved and shall
be in effect immediately.
