RESOLUTION 2023-459
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE WAUKEE
AQUATIC FACILITY STEERING COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee City Council has established the Aquatic Facility Steering Committee,
which shall be dedicated to the study of the design and financing of a municipal aquatic
center/swimming pool (Resolution #2023-458); AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints the following individuals as members of the
Aquatic Facility Steering Committee:

Alyssa Chambers
2)
James Pearson
3)
Jean Swenson
4)
Amanda Acton
5) Conner Greene
6) Bailee Arnburg
7) Summer Evans
8) Ankush Bhatia
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Parks and Recreation Director shall attend meetings of the
Committee and shall act in the capacity of support staff for the committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this the 16`h day of October, 2023, that it hereby approves the mayor's appointment of members
to the Aquatic Facility Steering Committee. 00
