Flowage Easement (Ashley Acres, LLC)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Ashley Acres, LLC, desires to grant the City of Waukee a
Public Overland Flowage Easement across two existing lots located within
Ashley Acres Plat 2. The purpose of the easement is to act as a storm water
overflow route during significant storm events.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2023-
APPROVING PUBLIC OVERLAND FLOWAGE EASEMENT (ASHLEY ACRES,
LLC)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Ashley Acres, LLC, are
necessary for the purpose of surface water flowage.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Overland Flowage Easement is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 20th day of
November 2023.
