RESOLUTION 2023-502
APPROVING AN EXTESION OF THE SITE PLAN FOR VALVOLINE WAUKEE
(3145 GRAND PRAIRIE PARKWAY)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee City Council approved the Site Plan for Valvoline Waukee on
November 21, 2022; AND,
WHEREAS, the approved site plan will become null and void on November 21, 2023, as a
building permit has not been approved and actual construction has not begun prior to this
date; AND,
WHEREAS, the developer has applied for a one (1) year extension of the site plan in
accordance with Waukee Municipal Code § 160.03; AND,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended the extension be approved
during the meeting of November 14, 2023; AND,
WHEREAS, the Site Plan for Valvoline Waukee remains in general conformance with § 160
— Site and Building Development Standards of the Waukee Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa
in session this 20t' day of November 2023 that a one-year extension for the site plan for
Valvoline Waukee is approved.
