RESOLUTION 2024-005
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF POLICE CHIEF
FOR 2024
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee must annually appoint an individual to the position of
Police Chief; AND,
WHEREAS, Chad McCluskey has served as the City of Waukee Police Chief since
November 2022 (Resolution #2022-488); AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke reappoints Chad McCluskey as Police Chief for
calendar year 2024;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee, Iowa on the
2"d day of January, 2023, does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of Chad
McCluskey as Police Chief for 2024.
