RESOLUTION 2024-018
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL LIAISON,
ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE AND EX-OFFICIO TO THE CENTRAL
IOWA REGIONAL DRINKING WATER COMMISSION (CIRDWC) FOR 2024
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a member of the Central Iowa Regional Drinking
Water Commission (CIRDWC); AND,
WHEREAS, CIRDWC requests the annual appointment of a council liaison, alternate
representative and ex-officio to the Commission; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2024, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Council
Member R. Charles Bottenberg as council liaison, Public Works Director/City Engineer
Rudy Koester as alternate representative, and Assistant Public Works Director of
Operations Tim Royer as ex-officio to CIRDWC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2nd day of January, 2024, that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments
to the Central Iowa Regional Drinking Water Commission (CIRDWC).
