SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Terracon Consultants has submitted a proposal for the
completion of materials testing, special inspections and International Energy Code Compliance (IECC)
services related to the Waukee Public Safety Building construction.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Not to exceed $82,080.

RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR MATERIALS TESTING AND SPECIAL
INSPECTION SERVICES WITH TERRACON CONSULTANTS INC.
[WAUKEE PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Terracon Consultants Inc. for
materials testing and special inspection services related to the construction of the Waukee Public
Safety Building; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services consists of materials testing, building code special inspections
and energy code compliance services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services between Terracon Consultants,
Inc. and the City of Waukee, Iowa is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 20th day of February
2024.
