RESOLUTION 2024-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF PFM FINANCIAL ADVISORS,
LLC.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney, Brick Gentry PC, has been asked by the City to assist in the evaluation
of utility operations; and
WHEREAS, City Staff and the City Attorney have sought out third party consultants capable of
providing services more particularly described in the Agreement for Financial Services presented to the
City Attorney by PFM Financial Services LLC (“PFM”) which is incorporated herein by reference
(“Services”); and
WHEREAS, the City believes that obtaining the Services are in the best interest of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, IOWA that the City hereby authorizes the City Attorney to engage the services of PFM
Financial Advisors, LLC pursuant to the terms of the Agreement for Financial Services presented to the
City Attorney by PFM Financial Services LLC, on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City agrees to the fees and expenses provided in the
agreement and further agrees to reimburse the City Attorney and/or pay PFM for fees and expenses
associated with the Services provided pursuant to the agreement.
