AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting March 18, 2024, as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a public pedestrian way easement [Corene
Acres Plat 11]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A public pedestrian way easement was recorded as part of
Corene Acres Plat 11 in 1989 to allow access to Songbird Park. Since the
original final plat was approved and recorded, the City has secured an
alternative easement from the property owner to facilitate pedestrian access
across the property.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for March 18, 2024, to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
