Polaris Ranger and Trailer [Waukee Police Department].
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The budget for the new Public Safety Facility
included $50,000.00 in funding for a UTV / ATV for the Police
Department. The UTV / ATV will be used on site to help with
snow removal from sidewalks and close to the building.
Additionally, the UTV / ATV will be used by the Police
Department for special events, patrolling trails, and other related
activities. After obtaining at least three written quotes, in
compliance with City of Waukee Purchasing Policy, the vehicle
came in $14,013.05 under budget with a trailer. The total cost of
the UTV and trailer from RJ Powersports in Ottumwa, Iowa is
$35,986.95.
