FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The house and garage were advertised for sale through Dallas County News as well as the City website. Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263, before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, for the purchase of the following structure(s) and removal of said structure(s) by the purchaser(s) from their current location: The structures at 925 Laurel Street, Waukee, Iowa, include the following: o A two-story single family residence built in 1905 with approximately 1844 square feet above grade living area o A 20’W x 32’L detached frame garage with year constructed 1972 At the above time and place, all bids received by the City will be opened and publicly read with the results being reported to the Waukee City Council. The sale does not include the land. Each structure will be sold separately. Bidders are not required to bid on all structures. For a complete notice, general description, submission requirements, and process, visit the City of Waukee website at https://www.waukee.org/bids.aspx The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposal(s) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the Council Chambers in City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Rd., Waukee, Iowa 50263. At the above meeting, the City Council shall receive oral or written objections from any member of the public. After all objections have been received and considered, the City Council will at this meeting, or an adjournment thereof, take such action it deems appropriate concerning the proposal(s) submitted.
