SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Absolute Concrete Construction, Inc. has completed the project
and is requesting release of retainage. Lien waivers for the project have been received. Shive Hattery, Inc.
recommends release of the retainage.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$122,486.61

RE: Release of Retainage
Warrior Lane Improvements - Phase 2
Dear Mr. Koester:
The lien waivers have been received for the above referenced project, and the contractor has met the
requirements necessary for the release of retainage on the project. If City staff concurs, we recommend
the release of retainage to Absolute Concrete Construction, Inc. of Slater, IA in the amount of
$122,486.61.
