AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution accepting a Public Access and
Recreational Trail Easement (Edencrest at Kettlestone, LLC)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A portion of a public sidewalk on the north side of SE
Tallgrass Lane encroaches onto property owned by Edencrest at Kettlestone,
LLC. An easement has been granted by Edencrest at Kettlestone, LLC, to
allow the general public to access the sidewalk.

RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING PUBLIC ACCESS AND RECREATIONAL TRAIL EASEMENT
(EDENCREST AT KETTLESTONE, LLC)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Edencrest at Kettlestone, LLC,
are necessary for a public sidewalk.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Access and Recreational Trail Easement from Edencrest at Kettlestone, LLC is
hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 1st day of April,
2024.
