FORMAT:Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A consent item submitted in the previous consent agenda on April 15th’s Regular Meeting had included erroneous supportive documents and was in referenced to an ESRI Enterprise agreement. This consent item is a resubmission for an agreement with Microsoft Corporation and with corrected supporting documents. The City currently utilizes various products and services offered by Microsoft Corporation, through an existing enterprise agreement due to expire April 30th, 2024. The products and services offered are core to the City’s information technology operations. This is an amended enterprise agreement that allows the city to continue purchasing products and services at contracted prices, already approved, and set through the State of Iowa’s Master Agreement with Microsoft Corporation. The City of Waukee is allowed by Microsoft Corporation to have a separate enterprise agreement tied to the State of Iowa’s Master Agreement with Microsoft Corporation, but with lowered ceiling requirements. Procurement will be through Insight Direct USA, Inc., a reseller that is designated by the State of Iowa to manage the Microsoft Corporation Master Agreement for the state. This renewal of the City’s amended enterprise agreement with Microsoft Corporation will extend for an additional 3 years. Enterprise Online Services are treated as Online Services, except as noted. “Enterprise Product” means any Desktop Platform Product that Microsoft designates as an Enterprise Product in the Product Terms and chosen by Enrolled Affiliate under this Enrollment.
