STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Utility Safety & Design, Inc. has reviewed the public
improvements for the Alice’s Road/170th Street Transmission Line Relocation Phase 2 Project and find
it in general conformance with the standard specifications for the City of Waukee.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2024-
ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
[ALICE’S ROAD/170TH STREET TRANSMISSION LINE RELOCATION
PHASE 2 PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement in connection with the Alice’s Road/
170th Street Transmission Line Relocation Phase 2 Project (the “Project”); AND,
WHEREAS, the work has now been completed under the Project; AND,
WHEREAS, in the judgement of the City Council, the work appears to meet the
requirements of the plans and specifications for the Project, and City staff has
recommended the acceptance of such Project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of May 2024, that it hereby accepts the public improvements
associated with Alice’s Road/170th Street Transmission Line Relocation Phase 2.
