AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting June 3, 2024, as the date of
public hearing on an Ordinance to amend Chapter 165, Zoning Regulations,
Definitions and General Regulations, by amending Section 165.15; Fences,
Walls, and Hedges
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The proposed amendment would reduce the required
setback within a secondary front yard on a corner lot for a fence greater than
4-feet in height from 20-feet to 15-feet.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the motion to set the
public hearing for June 3, 2024 to further discuss the proposed ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
