RESOLUTION 2024-173
APPROVING QUOTE FOR DEMOLITION AND PROPERTY RESTORATION
[925 LAUREL STREET]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee owns property located at 925 Laurel Street, which was
purchased in advance of potential future improvements and realignment of Ashworth Drive;
AND,
WHEREAS, City staff requested quotes for the demolition of a single family home and
detached garage on the site, as well as the restoration of the property; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff recommend awarding quote to J. Peddicord of Bondurant, IA, in the
amount of $38,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa
that the quote as noted above be accepted and approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 6 h day of May, 2024.
