AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution accepting a Sanitary Sewer
Easement (Dallas County Conservation Board)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Dallas County Conservation Board and the Dallas
County Supervisors have authorized a sanitary sewer easement within the
right-of-way of the Raccoon River Valley Trail. The purpose of the easement
is to allow for extension of a future sanitary sewer that will serve a
development adjacent to the trail.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT (DALLAS COUNTY
CONSERVATION BOARD)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Dallas County are necessary for
a sanitary sewer easement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Sanitary Sewer Easement from Dallas County is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 20th day of May,
2024.
