the City and the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce for the current
fiscal year.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING PROMOTION AND MARKETING AGREEMENT [WAUKEE AREA
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, (“City”) is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce (“Provider”) is a nonprofit corporation
comprised of business members within the community which helps to promote and foster
existing businesses and bring new businesses to the City; AND,
WHEREAS, it is in the City’s best interest to market and promote the City and participate in the
dissemination of information relevant to the City and business opportunities in the community to
the Provider’s existing and prospective members and assist in fostering existing businesses, as
well as attracting additional business development within the City, and otherwise benefit the
community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
Promotion and Marketing Agreement with the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce should be
and the same is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 17th day of June,
2024.
