AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting July 15, 2024, as the date of
public hearing on an Ordinance to amend Chapter 165, Zoning Regulations,
Definitions and General Regulations, by amending Section 165.02,
Definitions, and to amend Chapter 169, Zoning Regulations, District
Regulations, by amending Section 169.07, R-1 Single Family Residential
District
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The proposed amendment would clarify regulations for
swimming pools and spas/hot tubs by inserting definitions as well as
clarifying existing regulations.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the motion to set the
public hearing for July 15, 2024, to further discuss the proposed ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
