AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution amending a certain address for Lot 1
of Williams Pointe Commercial Plat 1
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The property owner of 950 SE Brick Dr has requested an
address change for their lot within Williams Pointe Commercial Plat 1. The
site does not have an access off of SE Brick Drive, but rather is accessed off
of the private drive located along the west side of the site, closer to SE Alice’s
Road. The owner is requesting the address to be changed to 945 SE Alice’s
Road.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the resolution.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVAL OF AMENDING CERTAIN ADDRESS FOR LOT 1 OF WILLIAMS
POINTE COMMERCIAL PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee approved the final plat for Williams Pointe
Commercial Plat 1 on November 7, 2022, and recorded said final plat with the Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested an address change due to location of the
site’s driveway and access points to the site; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 17th day of June, 2024, that the local address of 950 SE Brick Drive
be amended to 945 SE Alice’s Road. A copy of this resolution shall be filed of record
with the Recorders Office of Dallas County, Iowa.
