AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 65, STOP OR YIELD REQUIRED, CITY OF
WAUKEE, IOWA, BY AMENDING SECTION 65.01, THROUGH STREETS; STOP
INTERSECTIONS; AND BY AMENDING SECTION 65.03, FOUR-WAY STOP
INTERSECTIONS AS SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that amendments to certain through streets
and stop intersections should be made to the existing list of through streets in the ordinance.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Chapter 65, Waukee Municipal Code, Section 65.01, Through Streets; Stop
Intersections, is hereby amended by editing the following paragraphs in Section 65.01, Through
Streets; Stop Intersections as follows:
§65.01 Through Streets; Stop Intersections
39. SE Brick Drive from Hickman Road (U.S. Highway 6) to the north line of SE
Olson Drive and from the south line of SE Olson Drive to the north line of
SE University Avenue.
60. SE Olson Drive from the west line of SE Alice's Road to SE Cardinal Lane.
Section 2. Chapter 65, Waukee Municipal Code, Section 65.03, Four -Way Stop Intersections,
is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph to Section 65.03, Four -Way Stop Intersections
as follows:
§65.03 Four -Way Stop Intersections
18. SE Olson Drive and SE Brick Drive.
Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
