RESOLUTION 2024-250
APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES NO.3
WITH SNYDER & ASSOCIATES, INC. [UTE AVENUE & ASHWORTH ROAD
INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, on August 3, 2020 (Resolution #2020-292), the Waukee City Council approved an
agreement with Snyder & Associates for Professional Consulting Services related to the Ute
Avenue and Ashworth Road Intersection Improvement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2021 (Resolution #2021-274) and September 7, 2021 (Resolution
#2022-373), the Waukee City Council approved Supplemental Agreements No. 1 and 2
respectively with Snyder & Associates for Professional Consulting Services related to the Ute
Avenue and Ashworth Road Intersection Improvement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, Supplemental Agreement No. 3 covers additional construction services provided
by the consultant due to the contractor exceeding the contract completion date by 206 calendar
days.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
17th day of June, 2024, that it hereby approves the Supplemental Agreement for Additional
Services No. 3 with Snyder & Associates [Ute Avenue & Ashworth Road Intersection
Improvements Project].
