AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting August 19, 2024, as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a landscape buffer easement [Waukee
Crossing Plat 2]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A landscape buffer easement was recorded as part of
Waukee Crossing Plat 2. When a portion of Waukee Crossing Plat 2 was
replatted to Waukee Crossing Plat 3, the error in the location of the easement
was found and needs to be vacated.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for August 19, 2024, to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
