RESOLUTION 2024-297
APPROVING MAYORAL APPOINTMENT OF A REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE TO THE CENTRAL IOWA REGIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY
(CIRHA) FOR A TERM OF THREE (3) YEARS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has considered and adopted a Resolution declaring the need for
a Housing Authority in the City of Waukee, said Resolution No. 99-05, dated February 1, 1999;
AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has adopted the Articles of Agreement creating the Central
Iowa Regional Housing Authority (CIRHA), dated February 12, 1980; AND,
WHEREAS, each member government shall have one Representative and one Alternate to
CIRHA to serve for a term of three years; AND;
WHEREAS, such Representative and Alternate shall be appointed by the Mayor/Chairperson
with the approval of the local governing body.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 28E, Code of
Iowa, 1981, and by virtue of our office, we hereby approve the Mayor's appointment of persons
hereinafter named to served as Representative and Alternate to CIRHA, representing this City
and to serve for the number of years appearing, as specified above, respectfully, from this 15'
day of July, 2024.
