RESOLUTION 2024-309
ACCEPTING QUOTE FOR THE PURCHASE OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT,
SURFACING, AND SITE AMENITIES [CENTENNIAL PARK PLAYGROUND
REPLACEMENT PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Waukee Parks and Recreation Department staff recommend accepting a quote
through the SourceWell Cooperative Purchasing Program (the "Program") in the amount of
$649,512.00 for playground equipment, surfacing and site amenities for the Centennial Park
Playground Replacement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the Program is an intergovernmental cooperative purchasing program of which the
City of Waukee is a member; AND,
WHEREAS, all bidding laws have been met by the Program and prices were established for the
2024 calendar year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City cil in session this
15'' day of July, 2024, that the quote for the Centennial Park Playgro placement Project is
hereby approved.
