AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving quote from Storage and
Design Group [Waukee Public Library Moveable Wall Partition]
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The City of Waukee sought proposals for replacement of the existing partition
between classrooms 103A and 103B at the Public Library. The existing
partition is original to the building and has become problematic due to
component failure as the original manufacturer is no longer in business. The
contractor with the lowest cost for this project was Storage and Design from
Des Moines, Iowa.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
The cost for the purchase and installation of the new wall partition is $18,640
and will be supported by library maintenance funds.

IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the following quote for certain public improvements described in general as the Waukee
Public Library Moveable Wall Partition Project and described in the Request for Quotes that was
provided to vendors be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest responsible quote
received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: Storage and Design Group of Des Moines, IA
Amount of quote: $18,640.00
