RESOLUTION 2024-327
APPROVING DEBIT REQUEST WITH DES MOINES RIVER MITIGATION BANK,
USACE PROJECT NO. CEMVR-RD-2023-271 [UNIVERSITY AVENUE EXTENSION
PHASE 1 PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, The Des Moines River Mitigation Bank offers stream mitigation credits to a
primary service area for the Upper Des Moines River Basin; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is required to purchase 5,571 stream mitigation credits to
satisfy unavoidable impacts as part of the University Avenue Extension Phase 1 project; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Debit Request with Des Moines River Mitigation Bank, USACE Project No. CEMVR-RD-2023-
271 [University Avenue Extension Phase 1 Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved on the 5 h day of August,
2024.
