RESOLUTION 2024-333
APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE BOARD
OF ADJUSTMENT FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JANUARY 31, 2027;
AND A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR AN
UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JANUARY 31, 2029
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment Member Tanner Westberg is unable to fulfill the remainder
of his term, scheduled to expire January 31, 2027; AND,
WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment Member Emily Schultz is unable to fulfill the remainder of
her term, scheduled to expire January 31, 2029; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Dellan Llewellyn to fill the unexpired Board of
Adjustment term of Tanner Westberg and appoints Dan McAlpine to fill the unexpired Board of
Adjustment term of Emily Schultz.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5t' day of August, 2024, that the mayor's appointment of Dellan Llewellyn to the Board of
Adjustment for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2027; and the mayor's appointment of Dan
McAlpine to the Board of Adjustment for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2029, are hereby
approved.
