Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY: Andy Kass, Community Development Director REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: H2 THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2024- APPROVING THE VACATION OF A MONUMENT SIGN EASEMENT [PAINTED WOODS WEST PLAT 1] IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Monument Sign Easement which exists by virtue of the plat, Painted Woods West Plat 1, filed on October 23, 2015, and recorded in Book 2015, Page 17327, and the easement document filed on October 23, 2015, recorded in Book 2015, Page 17330 (the “Easements”); AND, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Easement as described on attached Exhibit A is no longer needed; AND, WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the Easement as described in attached Exhibit A be vacated.
