THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING THE VACATION OF A LANDSCAPE BUFFER EASEMENT [WAUKEE
CROSSING PLAT 2]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Public Electrical Easement which exists by
virtue of the plat, Waukee Crossing Plat 2, filed on December 6, 2021, and recorded in Book
2021, Page 35478, and the easement document filed on December 6, 2021, recorded in Book
2021, Page 35484 (the “Easements”); (the “Easements”); AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Easement as described on attached Exhibit A is no
longer needed; AND,
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the Easement as described in attached
Exhibit A be vacated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
19th day of August 2024, that it hereby approves the vacation of the Landscape Buffer Easement.

AND
THE SOUTHERLY 12.50 FEET EXCEPT THE WESTERLY 25.00 FEET OF LOT 1,
WAUKEE CROSSING PLAT 3, AN OFFICIAL PLAT IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
DALLAS COUNTY, IOWA.
AND
THE SOUTHERLY 12.50 FEET EXCEPT THE EASTERLY 25.00 FEET OF LOT 11,
WAUKEE CROSSING PLAT 3, AN OFFICIAL PLAT IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
DALLAS COUNTY, IOWA.
