SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This project includes the construction of the
Centennial Park Parking & Roadway Project including all materials, labor, and equipment
necessary for installation of approximately: 150 CY of Grading, 2,900 SY of Subgrade
Fly Ash Treatment, 2,100 SY of 6” ST HMA Paving, erosion control, surface restoration,
and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances. Construct Alternates No. 1 and No.
2 including an additional 950 CY of Class 10 Excavation, 2,600 SY of Subgrade Fly Ash
Treatment, 80 LF of Storm Sewer, 200 LF of PCC Curb & Gutter, 2,400 SY of 6” HMA
ST Paving, 7 STA of Pavement Markings, and signing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTENNIAL PARK
PARKING & ROAD PAVING
WAUKEE, IA 50263
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on October 7th, 2024, at the Council Chamber in
City Hall, 230 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. At said hearing, any interested
person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements.
This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the CENTENNIAL PARK, PARKING & ROAD PAVING, generally described as follows:
Construct the Centennial Park Parking & Roadway Project including all materials,
labor, and equipment necessary for installation of approximately: 150 CY of
Grading, 2,900 SY of Subgrade Fly Ash Treatment, 2,100 SY of 6” ST HMA Paving,
erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous related work and

In accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting of the Waukee City
Council will be conducted with two different options for public participation: 1) Members of the
public wishing to attend in person may do so in the Council Chambers at Waukee City Hall. 2)

In-person meetings are subject to change under certain circumstances, including but not limited
