SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This project includes the construction
of the Sugar Creek Golf Course Parking Lot improvements including all
materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the installation of
approximately: 2,000 CY Class 10 Excavation, 4,300 SY of Fly Ash
Treatment, 430 LF of PCC Curb & Gutter, 4,000 SY of 6” ST HMA paving,
150 SY of Class A PCC Sidewalk, 20 STA. of Pavement Markings, signing,
erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous related work and
appurtenances. Construct Alternates No. 1 and No. 2 including an additional
200 CY Class 10 Excavation, 1,000 SY of Fly Ash Treatment, 1,000 CY of
6” ST HMA paving, and 180 LF of 48” chain link fence removal and
replacement.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SUGAR CREEK GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT
WAUKEE, IA 50263
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on October 7th, 2024, at the Council Chamber in
City Hall, 230 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. At said hearing, any interested
person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements.
This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the SUBAR CREEK GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT, generally described as follows:
Construct the Sugar Creek Golf Course Parking Lot improvements including all
materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the installation of approximately:
2,000 CY Class 10 Excavation, 4,300 SY of Fly Ash Treatment, 430 LF of PCC Curb &
Gutter, 4,000 SY of 6” ST HMA paving, 150 SY of Class A PCC Sidewalk, 20 STA. of
Pavement Markings, signing, erosion control, surface restoration, and
miscellaneous related work and appurtenances. Construct Alternates No. 1 and
No. 2 including an additional 200 CY Class 10 Excavation, 1,000 SY of Fly Ash
Treatment, 1,000 CY of 6” ST HMA paving, and 180 LF of 48” chain link fence
removal and replacement.
In accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting of the Waukee City
Council will be conducted with two different options for public participation: 1) Members of the
public wishing to attend in person may do so in the Council Chambers at Waukee City Hall. 2)

In-person meetings are subject to change under certain circumstances, including but not limited
