AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 2 to Absolute Group for
the Prairie Rose Trail Project increasing the contract amount by
$35,106.30.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 2 is for grading to reshape the
west bank of the pond north of NW Douglas Parkway to eliminate steep drop off, unknown storm
drain repairs at the east and west bridge abutments, addition of a concrete pier to support the trail
tying into the box culvert under NW Douglas Parkway and installation of a rock trench to help
drainage at the south end of the box culvert under NW Douglas Parkway.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $35,106.30.
