RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Resolution PREPARED BY:Lisa Bauman REVIEWED BY:Sara Kappos SKK PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: I6B RESOLUTION 2024- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WEST AREA TRUNK SEWER EXTENSION - PHASE 2 WHEREAS, on the 18th day of July, 2022, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee, Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Rognes Corporation of Ankeny, IA, for the construction of certain public improvements generally described as the West Area Trunk Sewer Extension - Phase 2; and WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on October 15, 2024: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA: Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $4,382,837.70, as shown in the report of the Engineer.
