RESOLUTION 2024-430
APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Corporation, duly formed and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of Iowa;
AND,
WHEREAS, the Estate of Susan Farrell filed a lawsuit against multiple parties on March 21,
2018, including the City of Waukee; AND,
WHEREAS, the parties including the City of Waukee and the Estate of Susan Farrell have
reached a settlement arising out of or related in any way to the lawsuit.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
proposed Settlement Agreement and Release related to the Estate of Susan Farrell is hereby
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 71" day of
October 2024.
