THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
RESCHEDULING BEGGAR’S NIGHT 2024 TO THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 FROM
6:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2006, the City Council approved a resolution setting October 30
between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. as the perpetual date and time for Waukee Beggar’s
Night, unless otherwise determined by the City Council for special circumstances (Resolution #06-
192); AND,
WHEREAS, due to severe weather conditions forecasted for October 30, 2024, the Waukee City
Council agrees to reschedule Beggar’s Night 2024.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 30th
day of October, 2024, that Beggar’s Night 2024 is hereby rescheduled to Thursday, October 31 from
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
