Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY: Andy Kass, Community Development Director REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: H1 THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2024- APPROVING THE VACATION OF PORTION OF A PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT [PARKSIDE COMMERCIAL PLAT 1] IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Public Sanitary Sewer Easement which exists by virtue of the plat, Parkside Proper Plat 1, filed on March 1, 2023, and recorded in Book 2023, Page 2519, and the easement document filed on March 1, 2023, recorded in Book 2023, Page 2528 (the “Easements”); AND, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Easement as described on attached Exhibit A is no longer needed; AND, WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the Easement as described in attached Exhibit A be vacated.
