Temple Holdings, LLC [Parkside Plat 1]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The easement is necessary for the construction of gas
main to the Parkside Plat 1 development. Gas Main Easement will be in the future right-of-way of NW
10th Street when property is redeveloped.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$1.00

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING PUBLIC GAS MAIN EASEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH PARKSIDE
PLAT 1 [TEMPLE HOLDINGS, LLC]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2023, the City Council approved the preliminary plat for Parkside
Plat 1; (Resolution #2023-036); AND,
WHEREAS, after preliminary plat approval for Parkside Plat 1, an agreement was signed with
developer Temple Holdings, LLC, to provide natural gas service to Parkside Plat 1; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposed gas main easement is necessary to provide natural gas service to the
plat; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of November, 2024 that it hereby approves the public gas main easement associated with
Parkside Plat 1.
